Piedad has become one of the favorite TPRS trainers in the Northeast of the United States. She has been studying and learning with Blaine Ray, Susan Gross, Carol Gaab, Jason Fritze, Joe Nielsen, and Julie Baird since 2000. Which means she has known about the TPRSâ steps and skills as they have been created, modified, and enriched.

Besides being a constant and consistent researcher and trainer, Piedad has also produced excellent materials to be used in the TPRSâ classroom. One of them is the TPRSâ component for the series Avancemos published by McDougal Littell. The others are Mis cartillas, a series of thematic units for beginners and elementary school FLES programs, and Mis libritos three series of easy readers.

To complete her credentials, Piedad is a certified Spanish teacher in the State of New Jersey and a Spanish teacher at the Montclair Public School District. This makes her not only a well-trained TPRSâ facilitator and a successful author, but also a hands-on teacher who knows what is going on in the classroom today!

Piedad offers workshops and in-service seminars throughout the school year and during the summer. For workshops designed to satisfy your specific needs, please contact us.
